March Bureau 2025

30.06.2025

Koen Hermans opened the meeting by emphasising that the last few weeks had been marked by intense financial activity for the Group. The results for 2024 were solid and growth momentum continued across all business lines and geographies. A detailed analysis of the 2024 results will be presented at the April Executive Committee meeting.

The March Bureau meeting highlighted two ambitious digital platforms for the Group:

  • People@AXA: which aims to strengthen talent engagement and development within the Group.
  • Digital Commercial Platform: which focuses on improving commercial efficiency and customer experience through innovative digital tools.

People@AXA : Update

Olga Kravchenko returns to present the progress of the People@AXA programme, renamed MyJourney@AXA: a long-term initiative that is overhauling the Group's HR tools. This third progress report to the EWC focuses on the personalised employee experience through modern technologies.

Foundations of the programme

Payroll and employee management decisions remain local, supported by four pillars:

  • Talent acquisition
  • Internal mobility
  • Skills development
  • Technological experience
  • Project progress

The project is progressing in talent acquisition and performance management, with a working group analysing recruitment processes in collaboration with Germany, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. Roll-out is planned in Belgium and at AXA Partners for May 2025.

Use of AI :

Olga Kravchenko reiterated the commitment of European countries to comply with the AI Act. AI is being tested in HR applications with the aim of improving recruitment while ensuring that decision-making remains human. Thirty-five per cent of candidates refuse to allow AI to be used to process their application, highlighting the importance of transparent communication.

The progress of the People@AXA programme and the integration of AI demonstrate AXA's commitment to modernising its practices while maintaining a human approach, promising a positive future for the Group.

Presentation of DCP : DIGITAL COMMERCIAL PLATFORM

AXA's DCP platform addresses the growing challenges of interconnected risks. As part of the Group's ‘Payer to Partner’ strategy, it aims to better serve customers by providing them with the means to understand their exposures and vulnerabilities. This initiative enables AXA to strengthen its commitment to prevention and services, while maintaining its insurance offering in high-risk regions.

The platform's main objective is to support customers in adopting a proactive approach. AXA provides applications developed in-house and by its partners, facilitating risk analysis for businesses and their employees. The ‘predict and prevent’ principle guides the approach, using technology to anticipate risks and propose concrete actions.

Pierre du ROSTU, Managing Director of DCP, emphasises that the frequency of risk events, whether cyber, climate or geopolitical, is increasing rapidly. AXA's unique offering combines DCP's digital expertise with the skills of its Prevention Engineers, providing a comprehensive view of assets and the preventive actions to be taken.

The platform addresses four major challenges:

  • improving the quality of exposure locations,
  • enriching risk data through aerial image analysis,
  • refining understanding of climate change risks,
  • and developing prevention solutions.

The use of satellite imagery enables rapid response to disasters, such as the floods in Spain and the fires in Los Angeles.

The DCP platform also explores areas such as maritime navigation, tracking AXA-insured vessels in real time and anticipating threats through relevant information. The Cyber Academy has been launched to train employees of client companies, as the majority of cyberattacks are facilitated by human behaviour.

AXA's DCP is positioning itself as a key player in proactive risk management, offering solutions tailored to contemporary challenges.
