Bureau meeting on January 24 in Paris

This meeting was the first of the new AXA EWC Bureau under the aegis of its new secretary Hedi Ben SEDRINE.

Xavier Guell has presented a point on the project ahead. A number of steps have already been done and the company is committed to finding the right solutions for the impacted employees.

Melisa Waters and Cesar Salazar then reported on the new Pulse surveys. It replaces Scope surveys and is intended to be more flexible in its use.

The situation in Belgium has been discussed. An agreement on working time was found between the management and the trade unions. After a period of difficult adjustment, things seem to be improving.

In Poland, the situation makes the workload difficult for our colleagues. In Ireland, if the plans to close the agencies found a conclusion in the north, legal proceeding is ongoing in the Republic of Ireland. The EWC supports the involved colleagues and closely follows the situation. It may ask the Management to come back to these topics in future meetings if necessary.

This session was an opportunity for the new secretary to appoint his 3 deputy secretaries: Steve Blease, Bettina Cramm and Daniel Folgado.

Also appointed Treasurer Yannick Daubleu.

Paul de Torres is appointed in charge of communication with the secretary of the EWC.
